Forget ordinary trick-or-treating this Halloween!
... the real adventure begins after dark. As dusk settles over the woods, families will climb aboard the Halloween Wagon and disappear among the trees with one important mission: find the pumpkin!
Back at base, the pumpkins take centre stage in a hands-on carving session, where funny faces, spooky grins and glowing jack-o’-lanterns begin to appear. Then it’s time to gather around the fire, enjoy a country-style snack of polenta, cheese and salami, and toast marshmallows over the flames.
But don’t get too comfortable, the evening ends with a spectacular live fire show!

As dusk settles over the Magredi, the horses are ready, the lanterns are glowing and the Halloween Wagon is waiting outside the Rifugio dei Benandanti.
Climb aboard and leave the lights behind as the wagon makes its way into the woods. The trees grow darker, shadows stretch across the path and every rustle seems to hide a secret. Somewhere among the leaves, the pumpkins are waiting to be found and the Great Pumpkin Hunt begins!
Once everyone has chosen the perfect pumpkin, we will walk back to the Rifugio dei Benandanti for a hands-on carving workshop. Children and adults can draw, scoop and carve together, transforming each pumpkin into a wonderfully spooky jack-o’-lantern.
As the lanterns begin to take shape, the fire will be crackling and a traditional Friulian farm snack will be ready: warm polenta served with local cheese and salami, accompanied by Gelindo’s own apple juice.
Then we’ll gather around the fire to toast marshmallows and enjoy the autumn evening together.
But the adventure is not over yet. As night falls completely, the flames will rise for the grand finale: a spectacular live fire show to bring our Halloween celebration to a thrilling close.
